The Finglas Centre’s Community Support Service provides a variety of supports to the people of Finglas and the surrounding area. Many of these services are free of charge. Our services are provided on a one-to-one basis by our dedicated, professional, friendly staff.
Employment Support
Our Employment Support service can help you write the perfect CV. We offer a variety of CV templates, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs. We can also assist you in accessing job websites and sending e-mails to employers.
CVs are kept in our database for your convenience, and we can quickly and easily add new information to them for you in the future.
Our CV service is free of charge.
Information Services
The Fingal Centre has several staff members trained in providing you with information on your welfare rights and entitlements, back to work schemes, education and training courses, as well as general advice and information. We also keep a variety of common application forms and papers on file and can help you fill these out.
Traveller Development Support
The Fingal Centre through funding from Dublin City Council employs a part time development officer to work with the Traveller community and co-ordinate the work of the Finglas Traveller Development Group.
Community Education
The centre offers education routes to members of the community. We have a training room with 12 laptops enabling the centre to provide accessible computer training to the public and specific target groups.
