Memorial

6 months after its unveiling our memorial dedicated to “the people of Finglas West who have gone before us” has started to bloom. This memorial has become a reflective space for anyone who has lost someone. Why not take a moment to reflect when you’re next passing this way.  

Voyages Award Ceremony

The Finglas centres Voyages for parents programme was completed on Friday 28th of June 2019 with an Award Ceremony held in the West Finglas Tenants Association.

10 Participants completed the programme and they all received their Awards on the day. Lord Mayor Paul Mc Auliffe officiated at the ceremony, with all local TD’S in attendance.

The day was a great success with the participants presenting a dance routine that they had practiced throughout the programme.

The 16 week programme consisted off

  • QQI level 4 Computer Literacy
  • Triple P Parenting Programme
  • Fit For Work and Life (Irish Cancer Society)

The Finglas Centre would like to thank the following :

Memorial unveiling

Clean up our Community 2018

There was a great bunch out this morning at the shops on Cardiffsbridge Road. The Finglas Centre and Dublin City Council will be working together to improve the public domain here but none of that would be possible without the great team in The Finglas Centre. Well done guys…

If you are not registered, you will not be able to vote in any upcoming referendums or elections.

If you would like some help in checking the register, or registering to vote, please call in to our Information Office where you will be given all the help you need.

In order to be registered for this upcoming elections you will need the RFA2 Form. This must arrive in your City or County Council for the area in which you live 14 working days before the election date.
